Burlesque is a true performing art that can be in the form of; comedy, dark drama, sexy, political, and acceptance of gender. Where else can a person get on stage and be loved for who they are? For a female or male who is 'less than' what the world says is sexy or beautiful,
can show off her body and be lifted up by the audience!

People think it is all about 'sex' and actually many of the performances tell a very different story.
Look at me...if not for burlesque,
where would I be able to share my story about being sexy at any age?
Society say's at any of these ages 40, 50 or 60 you are over the hill!!
Many of the burlesque dancers chose this to express and overcome their abuse, damage etc.
The performer gets to choose on 'their terms' and tell their story through burlesque!
- Open to all ages and sizes. Some of the best burlesques dancers are beautiful large size women and some are still performing over 80 yrs. of age~this is for everyone!!!
- All levels of ability are welcomed. No experience in burlesque or dance. The workshop will introduce you to the essentials of posture and posing, walking, peeling, teasing with confidence... discover what you enjoy.
- Learn to work with props~ gloves & boa
- Private routine & creating a polish finished look for you to be your best on stage
- Each lesson is 1 hour, but we can do 1 1/2 to 2 hours per session.
